Clinching is also known as press joining. It is high speed mechanicalrnfastening technique for point joining of sheet metal component. The heat shieldrnand catalytic converter are to be joint together by using clinching operation.rnPrevious process had problem regarding more cycle time, accuracy, rejection andrnmanufacturing cost. In this paper we have implemented new method of clinchingrnby using hydraulic and pneumatic actuator.
